Developments in Monitoring Methods for Nutrient Solutions
C A Georgiou

Summary:-

Keywords: Nutrient solutions, Monitoring, Flow injection, Sequential injection, Analysis.

The trend in analytical chemistry is to move from analysis to monitoring. This is accomplished through automated analyzers that are based on flow technologies. The best candidates for the implementation of nutrient solution monitoring are flow and sequential injection technologies. By integrating readily available communication technologies to monitoring equipment, remote monitoring can be achieved. The principles of flow and sequential injection techniques, along with the views of the author concerning the implementation of monitoring methods and future applications for nutrient solutions are presented.
