Bulk blending has become the dominant production method for NPK fertilisers in the US market. There is no reason to believe that this trend will not continue for the foreseeable future. There have been continued efforts to improve the quality of bulk blends from raw material production to field application. Some recent developments involve improved storage and equipment systems. This paper deals with new methods of storage and bulk blending plant equipment designed to improve efficiency and product quality.
